In Loving Memory of Barbara Abbado

1962-2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Abbado, beloved wife of Joseph Abbado for 42 years, mother of Anthony (Jessica) and Angelica (Arjan) and adored grandmother of 6 grandchildren: Isabella, Juliana, Emilia, Luca, Sofie and Austin.

Barbara dedicated her entire life to family, friends and faith, always sacrificing and putting the needs of others ahead of her own. Barbara touched countless lives and spread love, joy and hope everywhere she went.

Her legacy of love, service, and faith lives on in all who knew her. We cherish the memories and the time we shared with her. We take comfort knowing she is now at peace, surrounded by her predeceased family members and embraced by God in heaven.

A visitation will take place at Saint Elias Parish, 267 Adelaide St S, London on June 11, 2025 between 10 am – 12 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12 pm.

While it's been many years since we've seen Barb and Joe, we have fond memories of getting lunches at the sandwich shop. Barb always had a huge smile and would ask how everyone was doing. She was such a kind and thoughtful woman. They also provided our late snack at our wedding almost 27 years ago. So sorry to hear of Barb's passing and wishing all her loved ones peace as they navigate this difficult time.
