Barbara “Barb” Jean Gray (née O’Brien)

Sadly passed on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Victoria Hospital at the age of 89 years. The most amazing and caring wife, mother, Baba, Great Baba and friend. She thought of everyone, and family was always her number one priority. Barb will be truly missed. Mother of Daniel, Pamela, Robert and Tim. Adored Baba of 8 and Great-Baba of 11. Predeceased by her husband and true love of 68 years (2021) Donald Dinwoodie Gray; parents Daniel O’Brien and Mary née Borshuk, and sister Sandra Ropac (O’Brien).
Miss Me – But Let Me Go
I have come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss Me a little – but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember all the love that we once shared,

For this journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It’s all part of the Master’s Plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to family and friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
