Barbara “Barb” Jean Gray (née O’Brien)

Sadly passed on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Victoria Hospital at the age of 89 years. The most amazing and caring wife, mother, Baba, Great Baba and friend. She thought of everyone, and family was always her number one priority. Barb will be truly missed. Mother of Daniel, Pamela, Robert and Tim. Adored Baba of 8 and Great-Baba of 11. Predeceased by her husband and true love of 68 years (2021) Donald Dinwoodie Gray; parents Daniel O’Brien (Borshuk), and sister Sandra Ropac (O’Brien).

I have come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,

Ava and Baba
Barb will always be missed fwith her happy infectious laugh to her serious informational knowledge of the many branches of her family tree. For each one of our four daughters Barb came to the hospital and gave the granddaughters their very first dress. She was so accommodating and to this day her son Bob and I cherish the many original ceramic creations she made for us. She was a very strong and smart person who helped make life worth living.
Baba you have always been a rock and the strength of our family. I loved visiting with you and sharing my growing family with you. You loved your family and we love you right back with all our hearts. I miss you terribly but I am so happy to know you are reunited with Grandpa!
We will miss you baba, thank you for the birthday wishes.
