Betty was the bookkeeper for my law office for many years and loved by both the staff and myself. Because she no longer wanted to drive in Winter weather I arranged to have her picked up by cab to and from the office to avoid forced retirement. She would often ask one of the staff to pick up a bottle of wine for her from the LCBO or to step outside to share a smoke break. I recall that whenever I spent money for office supplies she would always question me as if I was spending her money. She never mastered computers and so we kept the books in paper format until the day she retired when we then converted to software programs. We shared a couple of lunches with Betty after her retirement and to keep an eye on her. The photo attached is from one of our annual dinners. She will sincerely be missed and I offer my condolences to her family.

My thoughts are with the family now, as Betty has left this life behind, My greatest memory of her will always be Christmas 1975 when she opened up her family Christmas to me and Janice and our 2 month old daughter. Her grace and thoughtfulness have been passed down to children and I'm sure her grandchildren . Rest in peace and Tranquility Betty, you earned it

With deepest sympathies to Betty's family, I remember her very well for the years of faithful service to our law firm, especially in the early years when we were establishing a presence in the legal community of London. Betty's years of experience, attention to detail and professionalism were such an asset. I also appreciated her as a kind and good person who could always be counted on to do the right thing. May she rest in peace.
