Barbara Graham

November 20, 2025

With our hearts broken, but thankful for her peace, Barbara Graham passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 with her family at her side, holding her hands.

Barb was born on September 25, 1928.  Predeceased by her parents, Sam and Sybil Marshall, as well as her first husband, Laverne Elgie (1970) and her second husband, Keith Graham (2011).  Also predeceased by her son, Don Graham (2024), son-in-law, Bill Ransome (2025), and seven siblings.

She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by so many: her children, Brenda Elgie (Rae), Debbie Armstrong (Craig), Barb Ransome, Bill Elgie (Kelly) and Keith Graham (Kelley).  Her 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  Her sister, Jean Johnson; sister-in-law, Thelma Marshall; sister-in-law and best friend, Verna Porter, and many nieces and nephews.  She so enjoyed her visits with all of them.

Over the years, Barb drove a school bus.  She and Keith owned and operated Just-Us Sharpall in Hyde Park for many years.  Barb will be remembered by so many for so many reasons.  Her love of fun, knitting, sewing, and baking, as well as her ability to really listen and her genuine love and caring for all who had the privilege to know her.  Barb’s loss to all of us is indescribable.

Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at Westview Funeral Home on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to LHSC or to the charity of your choice.
