Benjamin Pieterson

July 14, 2017

A newly arrived resident of Gatineau, Quebec, primarily from London and formerly of Chatham, Benny P passed away at his residence on Friday, July 14th, 2017 at the age of 40. Born in Windsor, “Furr-daddy” of the late Begbie, treasured son of the late Theresa Sterling and George Murmann, beloved brother of Tena Pieterson, the late Joseph LaMarsh, late Jackie LaMarsh and former brother-in-law Louis Bailey. Survived by his Aunt Rita, cousins Jess, Tina, Dave, Marcus and many more aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed by so many. Benny P will also be truly missed by his extended family, including “adopted” sisters Michelle, Lacy and Rhonda. Celebrated by his brothers, the Steve’s, the Mike’s, the Morton’s, Ben, Barker and so, so many more that we cannot list them all. His infectious smile and swagger brightened up every room he entered. Family and Friends will gather for visitation at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 3:00–5:00 p.m., followed by a “Revelry for Benny” at the Cherryhill Centre, 1508-190 Cherryhill Circle, London, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. (extra parking behind 201 Westfield). No drinking “inside” the facility. Cremation to follow with a family and friends tribute at a later date. Donations, instead of flowers, are appreciated. Please contact Steve Boyle for memorial or charity of choice details at >iownhardknocks@hotmail.com or in person this Saturday.

Thank you in advance to all of you who've made our lives memorable. This is has and will take quite a long time to get over. This Saturday will be an amazing experience while grieving with an incredible network of people that Benny p was solely responsible for creating. I won't say goodbye my brother but instead believe that you're always right beside me. I saw the dragonfly you sent to me the other day. I love you Benny p you'll always be my best man. To tena, You know you have dozens of brothers and sisters around you and all it takes is a phone call to gather us together. Life gets busy and hectic but ultimately is family that makes my world go around and you tena are certainly my family. I love you sis Cheers Boudah
