My sincere sympathy to all of you on the loss of Bernice. I also met Bernice at St. Angela's College. We were able to keep in touch through the reunions, due to the efforts of Joan Skidmore, who kept us all together. May God comfort you all in this time of sadness and loss.

Bernie was a Great Lady and a Very Good Friend to all that had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a great support to my Mother in her final years and a very close friend to our family for most of her life and will be sorrily missed by all of us. I will remember her as always having an upbeat personality and a positive outlook on life, her smile and her laughter. And for that I feel priviliged to have known her. Barrow Bay won't be the same without her. Scott McDonald

My sincere sympathy to all of you on the death of your mother. I first met Bernice in grade 9 at St. Angeles. Like so many others we all went our own way at the end of high school. Unlike many others a large number of us came together again through the efforts of Joan Skidmore when Sister Paula paid a visit to London from Africa. Many reunions followed and we came to know each other again. Bernice was a gentle, kind person, the kind of nurse we'd all like to have in our hours of need. I'm sure God has a special place for her in heaven and I feel she'll be watching over you all from there. May God bless all of you and help you in your grief. Lovingly, Dorothy Mcclelland .
