Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, May 30, 2022, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Tom (2019). Cherished mother of Cathy (Kieran) Clohosey, Paul (June) McGregor. Proud grandmother of Breanna, Adam, Kelsea (Declan), Hanna, Seth, Diandra, and Chloe. Great-Grandmother to Noah and Naomi. Missed by her brother Edwin (Liz); brothers-in-law Richard and Ron; and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the caring staff at Victoria Hospital. A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Following the burial, reception will be held back at Westview Funeral Chapel from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bertha are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom, grandmother and friend. I worked with Bertha for may year at Plover Mills School. She would call me every few months to catch up on her students who still lived in the area. She was such a wonderful person and an amazing teacher. She was a true lady. I will miss our chats. RIP
