Peacefully passed away at University Hospital on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the age of 88. Devoted wife of 67 years to the late John McCann. Loving mother to Karen (Mark) Smith, Cindy (Greg) Patterson, Barb McCann, and Sandra (Chris) Howard. Proud grandmother to Laura Gee, Stephen Smith, Shane Howard, Andrea Howard, Nicole Patterson, Daryl Patterson, Kelly Ann Lynch, and predeceased by her grandson Adam Vicary. Great-grandmother to Kendall, Camden, Kaylee, Mia, Dylan, Sydney, Maverick, Joshua, Austin, Annie and Wally. Sister to Eileen Rachar. Predeceased by her mother Beatrice Douglas, father Harry McBurney, sister Diane and brothers Robert, John, Kenneth and David. Betty also had many wonderful friends in her church family that were so special to her. She enjoyed many years of fellowship, attending services, and sharing with her bible study group at WestPark Church.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 12:00-1:00 p.m., where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. A reception at Westview Funeral Chapel and Interment at Oakland Cemetery, 390 Oxford Street West, London will take place following the service.

We just watched Betty McCann’s memorial service on-line. You did a beautiful job of paying tribute to a beautiful lady who loved the Lord so passionately. We have many happy memories of Betty. She was part of our small group many years ago where she brought such a warm and loving grace to our gatherings. We rejoice that Betty is in the glorious, eternal presence of her and our Saviour. Steve and I would like to offer our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Betty was a wonderful neighbour.
