Please accept our sincere condolences and know that our thoughts, prayers and support are with all of you at this sad and difficult time. Brian's larger-than-life personality will definitely be missed - as will his caring and genuine nature. My sincere sympathy to all of Brian's family. The world needs a lot more Brians.
As a former client, I didn't know Brian on a personal level, but what he did for my family was nothing short of amazing. We will forever be grateful for his kindness, confidence, knowledge, action and support.
An excellent lawyer. A kind man with a generosity of spirit and compassion. A well-respected colleague in the law. Brian was all of that, and more. Sadly and greatly missed.
My condolences to Brian's family. I used to work with Brian. Brian was a wonderful, kind and thoughtful person. I had a lot of respect for him. He will be missed.
Bev and Family, we are so sorry for the loss of Brian. He was a gentleman and a true gem. His quiet calm in Court will be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of great loss.
Dear Clayton and Dan: I was saddened to read in this week's edition of the Renfrew Mercury of your Dad's death. I have many fond memories of your Dad and your family when you lived across the road from us in Burnstown. He was a great neighbour but more than that he was part of our family. Though there have many changes over the years in all our circumstances, I never forgot Brian. May he rest in peace. My love to both of you and hope that you are both happy and healthy. Susan

Brian was such a genuine man, a true gentleman. He had the ability to lift spirits with a simple encouraging word, pat on the back or gentle smile. His kind heart will truly be missed. My deepest sympathy to the family.
Bev and family I am so sorry for your loss. Brian was such a great person and a great lawyer too. I will always remember how prepared he was even for an adjournment. He was a very thoughtful, considerate and generous person. He always spoke so highly of you Bev and his children and the love he had for all of you. I particularly remember how proud he was of Daniel's accomplishments as a chef. In fact he introduced Daniel to my twin sister at the Tasting Room thinking that she was me. Even my sister commented to me what a lovely, gracious and respectful man he was from one meeting. He truly will be missed. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you are feeling for his loss. God Bless.
Bev and family, My deepest condolences on your loss. I never had the opportunity to meet Brian, but I can tell from the condolences above and from what Dino has shared, that he was a wonderful, kind man. May your fond memories help you through this difficult and sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
To Brian's Family: My profound sympathies for your loss. Mentor, colleague, or opponent, Brian was fierce in his advocacy and loyal in his friendship. No one will ever fill those cowboy boots, or wear his impressive wardrobe of ties with the grace charm and aplomb that Brian did. I will miss his wit and his expertise. Barbara Hoover
To Brian's family and friends: I was deeply saddened when I learned of Brian's passing. Brian was always so kind and courteous. When I first started practicing law he provided invaluable advice to me and was always willing to lend an ear. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Brian will be missed immensely.

Bev and family. Our condolences on your loss. Brian was great neighbour, always smiling, helpful and thoughtful of everyone. He will be missed by all who had known him. God rest him.
My deepest sympathy to Brian's family. Brian was a gentle soul. He was kind, funny, professional and genuinely caring. He made you feel special when you were with him. I will miss him at the courthouse. I'm sure Brian and his cowboy boots will be a welcome addition to the heavenly host. Memories live on.
Dear Bev and family - I still can't believe Brian has been taken so quickly. He was such a wonderful man with a huge heart. What was always clear to me was his undying love for his family and his sweet wife. Bev - I will always treasure our nights together over dinner in London as well as our trip to Washington, DC. Our tour guide Brian spent so much time making sure that we didn't miss anything as we toured and shopped the town at night. So thoughtful, so kind, so caring for others. He will be truly missed.
We are still finding it difficult to find the right words for the sudden loss of Brian. He was one of a kind in his gentleness and playfulness. He has left his family far to soon and you are all in our thoughts. Stay strong and embrace his gifts. We will see you very soon Bev.
Dan, we are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Our sincere condolences to you and your family at this very difficult time.
Bev and family, I know that no words can be said to lessen the loss that you are feeling but sometimes words are the only way to express to you my gratitude for the opportunity to practice law in a community where I was able to meet and get to know your husband and father. Over the last 20+ years, I came to know Brian as truly the most warm, genuine and caring individual whose career was based in integrity but also sprinkled with kindness and a little fun. Brian was a wonderful person whose stories and interests (croquet always my favourite, his travels and golf with Bev) always brightened my day. I will miss him. His passing leaves a void, that is for sure.
I was truly and deeply saddened when I was informed of Brian's death. He was a kind man. As an adversary in law, he always displayed the finest characteristics of the best lawyers - honesty, civility, courtesy and a willingness to seek resolution. When you spoke with Brian, you always knew that he was not just listening to you; he was actually hearing what was being said to him. His counsel and wisdom were valued. He was a fine gentleman, and I will surely miss him.
Brian has been in our thoughts and prayers this last while. Who amongst us who knew Brian was not been touched by his genuine kindness and understanding? Brian was possessed of great intellect and insight. He had unfailing strength yet always cared for others around him. He cheered people up. He was funny and generous in every way. To the family and his closest friends from my family and firm to yours - you are in our thoughts today.
I am grateful to Brian for leaving me with such fond memories. Croquet comes to mind but so too does his gracious and eloquent appreciation for being included in a special family event for me exactly one year ago. He has warmed so many hearts. God bless, Brian.
Brian never allowed his illness to overcome his characteristic good humour. A man of quiet courage, the best kind. I never worried about "shenanigans" when Brian was on the other side of a file. Condolences to his actual and his legal family.
A friend and guide who was a true gentleman and taught me how to say the worst of the things in the best of the ways. Brian you will be truly be missed by one and all and will be remembered by each one of us in a special way.
In a profession where civility is key, Brian was a model for us all to follow. He was a special person and a good friend. He has left us far too soon but he has left each of us with individual treasured memories
Brian....you were always a true gentleman; full of kindness, always cheerful, and very respectful to everyone. I miss you.
A truly kind and wonderful man who will be very missed.
