Dear Penny and Family, We knew Brian through our virtual Writing Cafe at Third Age Outreach. We enjoyed listening to his stories about Penny, growing up in the Drumming Bugle Core and his love for Vermont. He was a wonderful writer and addition to our group. We will miss his contributions and stories. His love for Penny and her quilts was evident. We will miss him dearly. Rest in Peace. From Friends at the Writing Cafe

Dear Penny and Wayne, You and your families are very much on our minds and in our hearts at this difficult time. Brian hosting snooker marathons in the basement on Woodbine Ave., rides on his Vespa or in his Nash Rambler, John and Brian driving to Myrtle Beach in John's first car, Brian in our wedding party (1968), etc. Fond memories of simpler times. Mary & John Martin
Brian was the most faithful and prolific member of our Writer's Group. He had a vivid imagination and thoroughly entertained us every week for years. He was always encouraging to me as a fledgling and I always appreciated his encouragement. He was very proud of his scooter and "scooted" over to our residence many km away. I will miss him so very much.
