Brien John Pole

The family of Brien John Pole is saddened to announce his passing, on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at the age of 57. He was the son of the late Gloin Pole (2010) and Helen Pole. Survived by daughter Dana (Joe); grandsons: Braydon, Bryce and Austin; siblings: Bevan (Dianalyn), Cheryl (Ray), and Patti (Dave); as well as by several nieces and nephews. Also remembered by longtime friend, Mike.

Brien was a gentle soul who will be remembered by those who knew him for his kindness, his sense of humour, and his polite manner.

Cremation has taken place, and the family is having a private day of remembrance to celebrate his life. Many thanks to the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Assertive Community Treatment 2 Team, who cared for Brien, and provided support and guidance to him, as he struggled with significant mental health issues throughout his adult years. In particular, we are grateful for his nurse, Laura Lee, who walked alongside Brien, supporting and encouraging him through life’s journey – in good times and also the not-so-good times. Those who wish to share memories of Brien are encouraged to do so. Anyone who desires to make a charitable donation in memory of Brien are asked to consider the Canadian Mental Health Association.
