Dave and Sandy our hearts go out to you at this time of loss. Carin and I want you to know you are in our thoughts.

We heard Britt speak at a Kinsmen meeting in Sarnia and we were all so inspired and touched by her speech. We were very sad to hear of her passing, but I know that her spirit is strong and will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Sandy and family - It was with shock reading of Britts passing. I know she gave it her best, and even though she was called to be above, know that she will always be near you. Even though I didn't know Britt, somehow she always entered my mind, wondering how she was doing. She is in a better place now, resting from her courageous fight. May you find peace through the days ahead. She will always be your Angel ....

Dear Sandy and family. No one knows why things happen to those so innocent and whose life has hardly begun. For now it will have to remain the painful mystery that it is. Losses like this can make us challenge our faith; however, this is precisely the time when our faith needs to be its strongest. I can't imagine how painful this must be for you. I am sad for you and I am thinking about you. I am praying that your faith will help you through this very difficult time and I pray that you will find the strength to get you through your grief and sadness. Dear Sandy and Dave I worked at STM years ago when Brittany was in Grade 8. I remember her incredible smile and positive outlook on life. I was saddened when I heard about her passing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. May God bless you and your family.

I was fortunate to know Brittany through Brescia University College; I clearly remember sitting beside her in our Developmental Psychology class. I was very saddened to year about her passing, but I do hope that she is at peace. I will always remember her as such a kind, intelligent, and strong young woman. My thoughts are with her parents, family, and close friends. I would also like to thank her mother, Sandy, for continuing to post updates about Brittany on her Facebook. Brittany will truly be missed.

Dear Sandy and Dave, We were so saddened to hear of Brittany's passing. She was a beautiful girl, with a beautiful smile and spirit that inspired so many, including our family. Our thoughts are with you and your entire extended family at this time. She was fortunate to have been held in the arms of such love, while she was here.

My most sincere sympathies to the family for this terrible loss. Brittany made a difference in this world and we at Cystic Fibrosis Canada, London Chapter know hard she fought against this disease. We are heartbroken that despite the efforts of so many, she could not be saved. Her efforts were a great help in our struggle to find a cure and were not in vain. I had the great opportunity of knowing Brittany through Brescia University College as one of her classmates. I had the honor of meeting her through a club at Brescia (with the Canadian Diabetes Association). She had a kind heart and wanted the chance to become involved in the club to help fundraise for those with diabetes and help however she could. It is a great tragedy to know that someone so kind and thoughtful is no longer with us. It was great working with Brittany for this cause; I am lucky to have known her and am very sorry for your loss.

Life is NOT like a box of chocolates. It's more like a jar of jalapenos...and, at the moment, it's burning my a$$. Brittany, you are missed xo

I personally did not know Britt but heard through my friend Barb (her Aunt) the valiant fight she gave to the journey of life. Her strength and determination to make the most of her short time on Earth is indeed an inspiration for us all. May she now be blessed in the comforts of the higher power.

I had the pleasure of meeting Brittany in the spring of 2001 when you Sandy were doing a DSE placement in my class at Wilfrid Jury. I was so happy to hear you were given more time with her through the gift of a lung transplant. Please know that you are in my thoughts.

Sandy, I will always remember the night we spent with Brit in that funny karaoke bar. She was so strong and beautiful that night. It is hard to believe that just one year later things can be so different. My thoughts are with you and your family as you try to make sense of how unfair life can be. May you find peace in remembering the joy that Brit brought to this world.

Brittany, I loved you from the beginning. I will always love you. A piece of my heart went with you to heaven. It's been an honour to be your aunt.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sandy, Dave and Britt for allowing me to walk beside them during this last difficult journey. God bless you and hold you in the palm of his/her hand.

Sandy and Dave; I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Brittany for her beautiful smile and indomitable spirit. No matter what she alway made everyone feel better.
