I knew Cam from the model club. He was a fun, gentle guy with a big heart and he loved what he did. My brother and always had a great time talking cars and kits with him. He loved what he did, and it showed. My condolences to his family. He was a good man and will be missed.
All losses are hard, and hard to understand. Cam was one of a kind, he knew what he wanted, and what he didn't want. He wanted to play his drums so much, and just jam, and then jam some more ,He didn't want to stop. Cam lived just around the corner from me, and I would visit him many times back in the late 70,s and early 80.s. I became a member of the nights of the round table, Cam ,the twins, Brooksey, and the classic Mister French, these were all his roommates. We would sit at his big round kitchen table and figure out life problems as best we could. yeah good times all around. Cam would look at my big afro, and just laugh and say cool man, thanks for being here. I wish all that knew him my sincere condolences. He was a great friend and an awesome drummer, and yes say hi to Keith Moon ,my brother Cam. Keep those sticks moving.
Vic and Judi Dear Anne, Ed, Chris, Wendy and family, Judi and I offer our most sincere condolences. We were shocked and saddened to hear of Cam's passing. I first met Cam in Public School via a few mutual friends. We shared many adventures during our High School days and beyond. Cam had a great sense of humour and his story telling ability always kept us fully entertained. Cam's love of cars was with him from day one. It is one of the things I will always remember about him. While we drifted apart over the years, each time we reconnected it was if nothing had ever changed. Most recently, I had breakfast with Cam and a few old friends. We spent a couple of hours reminiscing and catching up on our lives with plans to make breakfast a regular event. Cam will be missed and remembered! Rest in piece my old friend.
Cam and I had many great chats about model building and the subject of automobiles. As a vehicle technician I could no longer work on cars as a hobby and a career. I loved looking over his work. Cam was kind to the core and always very supportive of the time we shared in IPMS London. He will be greatly missed and I hope your cherished memories and keepsakes will give all a reminder of a great person.
To Cam's family and friends: I am shocked and deeply saddened by Cam's unexpected passing. I only knew him a few years. We met at the local scale modelling club and bonded immediately over our shared love of automotive and pop culture subjects. I delighted in his many postings about music and classic cars. Cam was a kind and generous chap, a really good friend. He will be greatly missed.

I'm shocked and saddened to hear Cam has passed away. He grew up just one street over from where I lived in Oakridge Park. I enjoyed viewing and posting comments on his facebook portfolio which contained many pictures of London's past historical landmarks and other old memorabilia. I would like to express my heart felt condolences to all of his family members. I'm looking forward to attending his "Celebration Of Life".

I'm shocked and saddened to hear Cam has passed away. He grew up one street over from me in Oakridge Park. I like how he posted pictures of old items and London landmarks on his Facebook portfolio. I commented many times on the pictures he posted. He made a good career for himself working at the Ford plant. I always respected Cam for being able to deal with the long working hours and the stressful environment. He stuck out that job for about thirty-two years. Wow, that was impressive! I know I could have never done that. I would like to say hello and express my heart felt condolences to Cam's father, his sister, his former wife and children and his brother Chris who I knew well during our high school days at Sir Frederick Banting. I'm looking forward to attending Cam's "Celebration Of Life". May God bless his soul. I will be praying for Cam at my church masses on Sunday mornings.
Ours sincere condolences to the entire family. We were certainly shocked and saddened to hear of Cam's sudden passing. Cam became a close friend when were in high school. His friendship was unconditional, something that I will always remember. He had a great sense of humor and his spontaneous one liners never failed to crack me up. I will miss you my friend. Bob.
My first recognition of Cameron is as a buddy drummer next door in1972. Frank, Chris, Greta and families...may Cam Rest In Peace.

My Condolences to the Family, Dad Frank and the kids, so sorry for your loss. I worked with "Cam" at Ford STAP for 30 years, and although after retiring we didn't get to see each other much , we kept in touch. Cam was one of the nicest people I ever met, and will always be in my heart. We were Union brothers and brothers in mutual respect and care. Say Hi to Eddy for me Cammer when you're Jamming with the Band, RIP my friend...
So sorry for your loss. I am shocked and saddened by Cam's sudden passing. I was thinking of him recently after I heard of his Mother's passing and had hoped to talk with him, to reminisce and reconnect. Cam was in my wedding party on September 08,1979, 41 years ago. He was such a good guy, we had some great times together, and while our lives were often on very different paths I always smiled when I thought of him. I will remember him, may he Rest In Peace.

Dear Frank, Chris, Anne, and your extended family... So very shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden loss of Cam. And so soon after the loss of Norma. The Hastings and Postons have been neighbourhood friends for well over 50 years. Your Mom and Cam WILL be missed. Our thoughts, prayers, and support are with you during this very painful time. John and Cynthia Postons, and family
John and I are so sorry to hear of Cam's untimely passing. His gentle spirit will be missed. He was an outstanding member of that raucous group of Bailey boy cousins. Our special condolences to Jason and Melissa. We are also thinking of the grief this must bring to Uncle Frank, Anne, Chris and their families so soon after the loss of Auntie Norma. We send our love.
I'm not sure what to say. It's hard to say anything meaningful when such a sad event transpires. Cam was a gentle man and as I recall as a kid a gentle kid. He loved cars, and he really loved drumming. I can't imagine how the family is dealing with this tragedy, especially after losing auntie Norma so recently. I don't think any of the family right now have sufficient words to express What is in our hearts right now. I guess we all have to keep warm and gentle thoughts for a warm and gentle man. Bless you Cam. Love Cousin Mark.

Dear Anne and the Hastings/Bourne Family: We are so completely shocked at the loss of your dear brother. Please accept our condolences. Love, Anna, Matthias and Ralph Bose
Dearest Hasting Family, Nancy and I are so saddened by the loss of Cam at such a young age. We really can't believe it. As you know, I grew up with Cam and we shared so many fun memories from our youth. Many of those memories I can't share here. I feel a small part of me has passed with him. Rest in peace my dear cousin.
Dear Anne, Ed, Chris, Wendy and family: Anna and I were so shocked and saddened to hear about Cam's sudden passing. He was such a kind, gentle and loyal guy who had overcome so many challenges in his life. It just doesn't seem fair. I know all of us will cherish our Cam memories forever. He was truly a one-of-kind, and I mean that in the best possible way. My most recent Cam memory was a FP message from him a few weeks ago: "Steve, when you used Tremclad on your Sunbeam Alpine to cover up the rust spots, did you sand the area first or just put it directly on the rust?" My reply was something like "Cam, I can't really remember, I had that car 50 years ago.." Totally cracked me up! Our thoughts and love are with you all at such a sad time. Steve and Anna
We were beyond shocked to hear of the loss of your brother, Anne. To say that we are deeply sorry, does not even come close to what's in our hearts at this moment. May the love of your family and friends bring some comfort to you during this dark time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours always.

Cam Hastings miss you already In recent years you helped me so often with trips to and from the hospital. I was actually in the hospital again when you left us so suddenly and prematurely. My heart goes out to your father Frank on losing his firstborn so soon after your mum Dear Norma. Anne and Chris I know how much you loved big brother. Gosh the Hamiltons loved Kingston Avenue partly because the mutually caring Hastings lived across the street. So often we shared your pool and celebrated many happy occasions at 1088 and 1075. Now we celebrate your life. May the extended Hastings family find strength knowing they were loved by Cam. Cameron Wilson Hastings, play your drums proudly and loudly so that we may hear them in our hearts forever and ever.
