A lifetime filled with joy, challenges, obstacles and opportunities has reached its final destination with peace. Candice Kowalchuk in her 36th year entered heaven’s gates on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Candice will be dearly missed by her loving partner and best friend, Kevin Chapman; mother Theresa Finlay (Darrell); father Richard Kowalchuk; sister Julia Kowalchuk (Josh) and their son Tyson; and by her grandmother Patrica Kowalchuk. This loss will also be mourned by her aunts and uncles who formed a large part of her short life: Nancy O’Niell (Doug), John Finlay, James Finlay (Zoriana), Marianne Thornhill (William), Deborah Vanderwerf, Wendy Broadhead (Dave); and Suzanne Aylen (Richard); as well as her cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Candice’s family encourages memorial donations to The Salvation Army or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
