Carmela Lina Mozetic 

With broken hearts we share that Mamma passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026 surrounded by her family.

She was the devoted and loving wife of Joseph Mozetic (2002) and Joseph Cordaro (1963). An adoring and doting mother to Anna (Luca), Antonella, David, and Andy (Sonia); a proud Nonna to Stefan (Erin), Claudio (2022), Cassandra (Chandler), John, and Savannah; and an extremely proud and fortunate great-grandmother to Alexandre, Emelia, Myla, Max, and Irelyn.

Daughter of the late Gaetano and Antonietta Santacaterina, and loving sister to Rosetta (Mimmo), Isabella (Joe), and Fred (Judy, 2020). She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and extended family in Canada and Italy.

Mom was a talented seamstress who loved sewing for others. Visitors were often welcomed with the many cookies she enjoyed baking, and her celebratory dinners brought everyone together to enjoy one another’s company. She was a strong and loving woman who was deeply loved in return. She will be truly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.

We are immensely grateful to the exceptional staff at LHSC and Parkwood Palliative Care for the wonderful care they provided, and for their compassion and support during this very difficult time.

Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery and Holy Family Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Mom’s memory may donate to a charity of their choice.
