Scott and Kara So sorry to hear of your mom's passing...Eleanor and I were just remembering her the other day. I remember the time we went shopping in Port Huron ,stayed over night....what a lot of parcels we had when it came time to go home! Try to remember the fun times ...your mom was a fun person.
Anne you are one of those rare, emotionally intelligent and kind wonderful people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I really enjoyed the times we had to talk and was so happy you and my great friend Chris had a great friendship also. You will always be part of my thoughts and I hope you Rest In Peace my Dear. You deserve it. Hugs and kisses. Brent Gudgeon
Kara, Scott and families.....We were saddened to hear of your mom's passing. Gary and I have such fond memories of when you and your family were our neighbours on Vanneck Road. Your mom and I frequently walked together around the neighbourhood and shared the ups and downs of parenting, teaching, and life in general! She had a great sense of humour, but she was also a very practical person, and faced her many health challenges with perseverance and grace. It was a pleasure to share a part of life's journey with her.
December 17th marked the passing of my very best friend. She was an inspiration to me and to all of us who knew her. I am grateful for the many opportunities that I had to provide assistance to her when she needed it. I can't help but think that there was a lesson to be learned from her passing. Ever the educator Anne has made us realize just how real this pandemic is and that we must all do our part to protect ourselves and those around us. If we take this lesson to heart, her passing will not have been in vain. Rest peacefully We will not forget you.
Dear Anne: After 45 years of dedicated friendship, may you rest in peace. We laughed, we cried together as our lives unfolded and we always managed to encourage and support one another. Many people can be acquaintances, but a loyal, true friend is a rare gift. You were my gift for 45 years . Your gift will keep on giving as I often reflect on our journey through life. Until we meet again!
Anne had a highly creative and warm personality. She was so much fun to be with, her laugh infectious with such a terrific sense of humour. Anne knew how to be a good friend. I will remember our teaching days together with fondness. The news of her passing has truly saddened me. My condolences to the family.

Kara and family, My most sincere condolences. Although I haven't seen your Mom in many years, I think about your family daily as I drive by your old family home multiple times per day. I remember her making me eat my asparagus but also letting me have a Flintstone vitamin. I have wonderful memories of my neighbours down the Vanneck. Keep your memories close. Sincerely, Katie Robson
