Peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, April 22, 2024, at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of Metro Szeryk for 63 years. Cherished mom of Scott (Jessica) and Neil (Karen). Devoted Nana of Maddie and Ellie. Loving sister of Barbara (David) Winders, Pat (Paul) LaFleur, Gerri (Jeff) Collinson, Mary (Derrick) Hoare, Eric (Cindy) Pandke, and the late Dayle Pandke.
Cremation and a private family service have taken place.

My deepest condolences to the entire Szeryk family. It's been 30+ years since I was a 2nd grade student of Mrs. Szeryk, and I still have fond memories of it. Thank you for everything you did for me and all the other little people, helping their lights shine to the fullest. Unfortunately, typing with my nose doesn't work on touch screens as well as it did on a real keyboard, otherwise I'd be using my nose for this part. Much love and respect from my family to yours. ♥️
Metro, we are sorry for your loss. Carol touched so many lives and we will always cherish having her as a friend.
