Dear family, Tomorrow you will say farewell to your mam, grandma and my tante To. I will remember our times together, especially all the stories that were told about the old days. To, Door and Mieke had a lot in common. The three of them were always busy, always doing something. Gardening, cooking, all kinds of needlework. Tante To made beautiful quilts, I still have one of them. And they had a lot of fun together! I remember my mam writing letters and we were always glad when we received one from Canada. You must have had piles of them! The letters were always about the day to day life. For instance about the meal of the day, the weather, the activities of the children and so on. Our holidays with you in Canada have a special place in my heart. I think it was in 1973 or so, in the year opa Teuwen died. Tante To and oom Sjra showed us a lot of beautiful places, I remember the Niagara falls, Toronto and the cottage. My thoughts are with you all tomorrow. Big hug, Tine van tante Door

We will remember the good moments we had together during the visits to Holland and to Canada. She wanted to stay in touch with her family. We met het more often then some family nearby! Rest in peace tante To.
