Cathy Marie Greenaway

GREENAWAY, Cathy – Peacefully with her family at her side at London Health Sciences Centre, on August 2, 2011, Cathy Marie Greenaway of London in her 58th year.  Cherished wife of Robert (Bob) of 35 years.  Loving and devoted mother of Joshua and Matthew.  Survived by brother Bruce Qually and his wife Sharon of Anmore, BC, and brother-in-law Peter Hanford and his wife Anne Martin.  Dear aunt of Jeremy Hanford and his wife Tracey, Kim Hanford and her husband Karl Wildi of London, England, Graham Qually and his wife Monica of Vancouver and Lindsay Qually of Anmore, BC. Cathy is also survived by her extended family and friends.   Beloved daughter of the late Wayne and Louise Qually and sister of the late Penny Hanford (1992).  Friends and family will be received on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, August 8th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.  Rev. Herb Summers officiating.  Cremation to follow with private interment of ashes at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Cathy are asked to consider the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.  The family wishes to extend its sincere thanks to the staff in the Oncology and Palliative Care departments at LHSC-Victoria Campus.

Dear Bob, Josh and Matt - Just wanted to let you know that you are all in my thoughts today, and have been during these past few difficult months. The battle you have all fought this year must have been both overwhelming and exhausting. As Cathy has come to rest, I hope each of you can take comfort in the life you shared and all the great memories you created.
