Passed away at University Hospital on March 7th, 2015 in his 88th year. Predeceased by Miriam, his wife of over 60 years (2009); sister Suzanne Ash (2009); and brothers Paul (1957) and Bruce (2013). Gentle, loving father of David (Maureen), Anne Marie (Ed) Balys, Catherine (Wayne) Cherry and grandfather of Jennifer, Heather and Sarah, Kirsten, Lisa, Alison and Dean. Chuck is survived by 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; his brother Brian (Mary); and sister Betty (Art) Postma. Chuck was a man with many interests and a wealth of creativity. He was a talented wood carver, photographer, model train and automobile enthusiast, mechanic, fisherman and boater. He was friendly and generous and treasured his time with family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14th at 11:00 a.m. at NORTH PARK COMMUNITY CHURCH, 1510 Fanshawe Park Road East, London. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to the charity of your choice.

One more of our 'Gang of Twenty' has gone on to be with the Lord! We treasure memories of the good times with Chuck and Miriam at their house over the years as well as camping and RVing trips together.
