It is always sad when we lose a loved one, no matter how much we think we are prepared. it is especially sad to lose the youngest sibling, because that is something we are never prepared for. My heart grieves for your loss and condolences to each and every one of you. This too will pass...but it takes forever!

My deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of Charmaine. I met Charmaine at Chelsey Park many years ago. She was my Grandma Joan Whiteford's "Angel". It gave our family such great peace knowing Charmaine was looking after Grandma with her special kind of humour and loving care. Charmaine was a beautiful, strong, proud and generous woman with great style and elegance. She had great taste. I regret not having the opportunity to visit her lovely home and see her gardens. I was invited more than once, but living in Toronto made it difficult to arrange. I'm sure Charmaine is helping the Lord maintain the many beautiful gardens in Paradise. I will always remember Charmaine with deep fondness and great respect. She will be deeply missed. Until we meet again Charmaine, xoxo

I was so sad to read about Charmaine's passing. I remember hiring her when she started at Longworth LTC(now Westmount Gardens) Charmaine did a "happy dance" when we gave her the job. She was a super reliable employee and an excellent nurse. She was always respected & admired by the residents, families & staff. Deepest condolences to the family.

I hope you are smiling down on us in heaven from a beautiful garden! You were such a blessing to have as a neighbour and our children absolutely adored you for your kindness and generosity. Heaven has definitely gained an angel in Charmaine. You will be deeply missed! Rest in peace. Xo

Charmaine was one of the wonderful people who looked after my mother when she was in Chelsey Park. Every day I went in and saw that Charmaine was on duty, I knew that mum was being taken care by her "angel". Charmaine was one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. She was beautiful on the inside and on the outside. I will always treasure her friendship. My prayers go out to her family. God Bless!

When bringing Nursing Students into Chelsey Park Nursing Home, I had the opportunity to work with Charmaine. She was kind and compassionate to the Residents and also to the Nursing Students. Her patience and dedication to her profession and the people around her made her a wonderful mentor for the Students. I wish the express my deepest sympathies to her family and her Chelsey Park family. Charmaine will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Teresa Grimminck Clinical Instructor
