Christine and Dennis Scott

July 23, 2025

Loving spouses Dennis John Scott, in his 76th year, passed away July 17, 2025, and Christine Ann Scott, in her 74th year, peacefully passed away on July 23, 2025, within a week of each other. They both suffered and valiantly fought illnesses over many years. They are now back in each other’s arms for eternity with the Lord their God.

They leave to mourn the void they left, sons Wayne and Lee, daughter-in-laws Ruth and Vicky, grandchildren Holly, Audrey, Owen and Henry, brothers Bob, Billy, and Glenn, and sister-in-laws Lesley, Angela, and Cathy.

They will always be remembered in our hearts for their great, unwavering love for each other, their family, and God. Dennis will also be remembered for his incredible sense of humour, and Christine for her equally incredible patience and grace.

Friends and family will be received at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, for a celebration of life on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

We ask you to consider donations in lieu of flowers to the PSP Society of Canada ( Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Society of Canada) or to the Canadian Cancer Society.

In memory of my beloved sister Christine and brother in law Dennis. We remember the love and the laughter Their lives were a blessing to us all and their memory we will treasure. I’ve known Dennis for 60 years, everything he’s been involved in he’s given his all, Southampton 23rd Boys Brigade Band is a wonderful example. My sister was such a caring person, looked after so many people as a care home manager. We have fond memories of them, so many trips to Canada we all did so much together over the years. Thanks to everyone who has shared photos, it brings back so many lovely memories. Forever in our hearts we will always love you. God of mercy, here I cry, turning your hand bringing relief from their pain, be their comfort. For every day they're given breath to your name, their fighting is over, flesh gives way, be their light to guide them home God of mercy, here I cry, heal their souls give them peace from their fears, be their hope, Lord. Sometimes I don't know what to ask for Sometimes I don't know what to say But I know that You are watching over them Sometimes I don't know what to pray for Sometimes I don't know how to give But I know that You are watching over them and their lives are not in vain. Be their light to guide them home. Don't let your hearts be troubled Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going." Glenn Angie Josh Jack Xxx
