Clara Cornelia Linker

May 3, 1931 - December 14, 2021

On Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Kensington Village Long-Term Care, London, ON, the Lord graciously called unto Himself, Clara Linker, of London, in her 91st year. She was born in Utrecht, The Netherlands and immigrated to Canada as a young woman of 28 years, but her heart always belonged to the land of her birth!

Clara will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Audrey (Charles), of Edmonton, AB. She was a dear grandmother of the late Jennifer (taken Home to Glory in 1988), Mitch, Sam, and Courtney. Clara was predeceased by her former husband, Clarence (Klaas); her son, William; and her sister, Truus. The family would like to thank Dr. Whynot and all the staff at Kensington Village for their wonderful care and compassion over the past five years. A funeral service will be conducted at the London Free Reformed Church, 1274 Tote Road, London, on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Henk Bergsma officiating. Name and phone number will be required at the door to attend the service at the church. The family welcomes those who are unable to attend, to participate in the service via livestream.

I loved going to uncle Klaus and aunt Clara when I was a child . Visiting with my dad and mom My dad was uncle Klaus’s brother and aunt Clara always kindly gave us very delicious cookie biscuits to eat. She was a very nice lady and I loved her son. My cousin William. Who I miss very much. I only have one picture of William. I list it in a blog website I wrote in honor of my father. And in that blog website I tell some stories about the family that anyone who knew my aunt Clara may perhaps enjoy reading. I would list it here. But apparently no links are allowed here. Blessings on that note tomorrow cousin audrey. . Aunt Clara’s daughter. Love in christ
