David was an incredibly loved and wonderful Grandad to my children Bentley and Lilliana. He was a kind and patient human to not just me, Lilly and Bentley but to all of my children (who also referred to him as grandad) even in challenging times. He was a role model to all who anyone could talk to without judgement and will be so missed by all.

I met David in 1982. We were neighbours for a while on Culver Drive and scouters for many years in the London area. David even came to the first cub camp I was in charge of to support me as I was a fairly new scouter. Many years of memories. Sleep well my friend.
David was a dear friend for many years. We shared many memories of scouting, hiking and tales around a campfire. We shared many construction projects, rebuilding parts of the riverside house and often our antics made the best stories to share later. He will always be a big part of the stories I tell about my life. I am always grateful for the time we shared and the wonderous adventures we had. It feels like a part of my soul has gone before me.
