David Charles Higgins

Peacefully at home in Ilderton, Dave passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 69, surrounded by his loving family. Dave will be sadly missed by his cherished wife and soul mate of 25 years Denise (Charlebois) of Ilderton, daughter Jennifer Lynn of Vancouver and son Alex (Jessalyn) of Toronto. Dave is survived by his loving sister Janet Spittal (Wayne) of Manitoba, brother Jim R. Higgins (Terri-Lee) of London, in-laws Guy Charlebois (Connie), Agathe Peters (John) and Pierre Charlebois (Chris) of Cornwall. Dave treasured his relationships with all his nieces and nephews, his special bond with Nick (Jaclyn), Hannah, Elliot and his walks with Micky and Kooper. Predeceased by his parents James C. Higgins and Anna (Rawding) and his identical twin brother Donnie Higgins (Andrea). Dave excelled in many sports, primarily golf, hockey and baseball.  He was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, New York Giants and Montreal Canadiens.  He enjoyed investigating real estate projects and listening to The Rolling Stones. We take comfort in knowing that he will be exploring new greener courses. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Westview Funeral Chapel (519-641-1793).
