Deloris Pearl Knechtel (née Schultz)

Peacefully passed away at LHSC – University Hospital on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Paul Daniel Knechtel. Forever missed by her son Mark (Lorna Eggert). Predeceased by parents Emerson and Luella Schultz. Deloris worked for Kmart for many years, was a member of the St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hanover, was a past president of the Hanover Kinettes, a member of the William Melville Spencer IODE Chapter, and lastly, a member of the London Garden Club. Mom enjoyed theatre, music, travelling, and in particular her annual visit to Marco Island in Florida. In her early years, mom enjoyed the cottage at Browning Island in Muskoka, and many years at the cottage, Pearl Lake. A private graveside service will be held in Hanover at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Deloris are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
