Passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord, at University Hospital, on Monday, April 8, 2019, at the age of 72. Darling husband of Donna. Beloved father of David Carrothers (Cara), Jennifer Parkes (Jody), Katie Dodge (Adam), and of his step-son Jason Taylor (Claire). Cherished Grandpa “Boompa” of Caleb, Jordyn, Camille, Heidi, Violet, William and Andrew. Dear brother of Bradley Carrothers (Mary) and Gayle Smith (the late Frank, 2018). Dennis will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all of the people whose lives he touched throughout his ministry. A funeral service will be conducted at FOREST CITY BIBLE CHURCH, 1889 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dennis are asked to consider C4i, Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex, Ethnos Canada or Emmanuel International Canada.

Donna David, Jennifer, Katie, Jason, Our sincere condolences. So sorry we can,t be with you on Friday, but be assured our thoughts and prayers will be with you as we hold you close in our hearts. Dennis was a great mentor {especially for Ed} during his time at Scottlea. He led many in our family and friends to a personal relationship with Jesus. We are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.Please accept our deepest sympathy in your loss. He was so important to the people of Kildonan and, thanks to his ministry, Kildonan survived and has continued in its ministry for over 165 years. He ministry brought about the building of Kildonan Community Church which has a flourishing ministry today.
