Dianne was my co-worker, "twin", "sis", and best friend and I am so happy to have had her in my life. It is difficult to put into words how much she meant to me, as she did to so many others. Her sheer determination and willpower (aka "stubbornness) were remarkable as she dealt with this disease. She truly was an inspirational woman. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched. My thoughts are with you Darrall and your family.

Darrell & Family; My sincere condolences on the passing of your lovely wife, Dianne. May all the special memories be close to your heart at this difficult time...

~ Deb. Fiddick-Schieven (nee Fiddick)

Darrall and Family -Dianne's legacy will shine through the tears with her outstanding hopes and love for her family-She touched everyone she met, as only a true kindred spirit can, and she renewed the existance of the meaning of dignity, class, perserverance, wisedom and humour. Just her smile alone is an incredible memory and beacon. I have never enjoyed working with anyone more.

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints in snow. I am the sunlight on the ripened snow, I am the gentle autumn’s rain. Do not stand at my grave and mourn, I am the dew-flecked grass at dawn, Where the tranquil ocean meets the land, I am the footprints in the sand, To guide you through the weary day. I am still here, I’ll always stay. When you wake up to the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush, Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there… I did not die. (Elizabeth Mary Frye-1932)

My deepest condolences Darrall to you and your Family.

I cannot tell you how much, or find the appropriate words to express how wonderful it is to have known Dianne. She was an invaluable colleague, a fabulous friend and a blessing to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. I do not know anyone who took life's lumps with such dignity, grace and always with a happy, positive outlook. I know she treasured her family and friends and would always gush and glow when talking about her grandkids and showing off the latest pictures. She was an inspiration in every way and a wonderful woman indeed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. She will always make me smile when I think of her.
