Peacefully at University Hospital on Thursday, May 19th, 2016 in his 97th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Olga Mae Andrew (née Beamish). Loving father of Colleen (Rick) Staples, Peter (Susan) Andrew and Susan Andrew. Dear grandfather of Tracy (Jamie) Graham, Scott Staples, Shae (Reid) Innes, Erika (Jud) Sims and great-grandfather of Emma, Olivia and Andrew Graham, Harper and Kennedy Innes, and Faye and Jack Sims. Don enjoyed a lengthy career as sales manager with Bothwell Manufacturing Furniture Company. He was also an active member of Metropolitan United Church for over 40 years, and a proud Mason for over 60 years. Thank you to all the staff at Longworth Retirement Residence for their excellent care and genuine concern over the years. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, May 25th, 2016 at 12:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment at Dorchester Union Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Don are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
