My most sincere condolences to Don's family. I met Don many years age during my many visits to the Sarnia Courthouse as an officer with the Sarnia police Service. We had many conversations over the years about work and our families. Don was very much a gentleman and he was well respected by those who worked around him in their various capacities. His passing is a loss to all.

Don Jury, my little league baseball coach for 5 years, starting 54 years ago, I was 11 years old. I went on to play minor pro ball in the NY/Penn league. I owed it all to Mr. Jury. I almost stopped playing ball when my dad died , I was 12 years old. Mr. Jury all but dragged me back to the ball diamond. I will never forget the impact he had on me, getting me back on the field turned out to be the most important part of my being able to cope with the loss of my dad. Thank you coach.

I was fortunate to be employed as a secretary to the court administrator and Justices of the Peace back in the mid-70's, when we were all just starting out. Don was a joy to work for, and with. Just as in this photo, he always was ready with a smile and a greeting for everyone. I have reminisced about those days many times, with fond thoughts for Don and Elda. I send my sympathies to all of his extended family in this time of loss.

Uncle Don was a mentor to many people. Along with my father and, other uncles, Don instilled within me a love of baseball. He was one of the most respected Little League coaches in Southwestern Ontario as he guided the McMahen Park PeeWee Orioles to multiple championships in the late-1960s and early-1970s. RIP Uncle Don. Sincere condolences to Aunt Elda and family from me and Beth. - Jeff & Beth Reed

When my sister told me he passed away. My heart literally broke. I'm happy Don isn't in anymore pain and can tell my mom that me and Rachel are doing just fine.
