Passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, at University Hospital on Thursday, October 3, 2013 in his 84^th year. Beloved husband of the late Pat Smeltzer (2006). Dear father of Tom (Sharon) of London, and Parker (Maryse) of Acton Vale, Quebec. Loving grandfather of Lindsey, Jordan, Terry and Tanya. Proud great-grandfather of James. A funeral service will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment, Woodlawn Cemetery in Guelph. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Don are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
