Peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Shirley. Cherished father of Bonnie Osgood (Nicholas) and Stephen Smith. Treasured grandfather of James Osgood (Lindsay Lake) and great-grandfather of Ella, Owen, Tenley. Grandfather of Hayley Hope (Chris) and great-grandfather of Kayla and Sophie. Predeceased by his son Wayne (2009). Proud sibling of Wilbur Smith, Evelyn McNeil (late Alex), and the late Bill Smith. A private memorial service will be held. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Donald are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.

Belated condolences to Aunt Shirley, Bonnie, Stephen and family. Nana Evelyn, spoke very fondly of her brother. She was always happy to share her most recent visits that she had enjoyed with Uncle Don and Aunt Shirley.
