Donna Marie Gagen

It is with deep love that we announce the passing of Donna Marie Gagen, on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Country Terrace, Komoka, Ontario.

Donna was the daughter of the late Clarke and Maude Minns.

Donna was a devoted mother to her three sons, Mark (predeceased), Michael (Annette), and Jeff (Danielle), who were her greatest pride and joy. She was a loving sister to Marsha (Bill, predeceased) and Debbie (Michael). Donna was predeceased by her husband, Walter Gagen, and was a caring stepmother to David (Jerri, predeceased), Barbara (Michael, predeceased), and Cynthia. Her grandchildren, Kristina, Jacob and Danyka brought her immense happiness. She was also a step-grandmother to Melissa, Joey (predeceased), Katy, Chris, Jeff, Samantha, and several great-grandchildren.

Donna dedicated her life to nursing, a calling she embraced with compassion and heart. She formed lifelong friendships with colleagues and cherished time spent socializing, gardening, playing cards, traveling, and attending gatherings with friends and family. She also had a deep love for animals and treasured her pets.

Donna will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, vibrant spirit, and unwavering love for her family.  The family sends their gratitude to the staff of Country Terrace for their dedicated care and support to make Donna’s stay comfortable.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to a local animal shelter or a dementia organization.
