It is with great sadness that we received these news and offer our condolences to Ted and the family. Even though we have not been at Village Green for a long time, the people at this church are very loveable people and Doreen was one of them. We will miss you, but knowing your relationship with God we know that you have a most wonderful home in heaven. It is not a goodbye but until we meet again. We will keep the family in prayer. Sincerely, The Gomez Family

Greetings Ted So sorry to hear of Doreen's passing. Seeing her photo in the paper yesterday truly surprised me, and yet in the shock of the news, and the sadness that followed, I was also flooded with many happy memories of the two of you when we used to fellowship at Bethel Baptist, so many years ago. Doreen was one of the sweetest ladies I"ve ever known, and I'm sure your life will no longer be the same. May the Lord draw close and comfort you in these difficult times. Walter

My deepest sympathies go out to you Emily, Ross (and families) and your dad. I recall your mom's "sing-song" voice and her smiles greeting your friends as we came for visits to the big rec room to play:) She will be missed and know many hold dearly to sweet memories of her. Sincerely, Carla

Dear Emily, Ross and Ted, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time, as well as those of my family. I remember spending lots of time at your house in Fort Frances and your mom was always either singing or humming a song. Take care and I hope you find peace during this time. Lisa Morden (nee Allan)

Dear Ted and family: Joanne and I were saddened to hear of Doreen's death. It seems like no time at all since you two stood up for Ernie and me at our wedding in the Fort. If you remember, I even had to borrow one of Doreen's hats for the ceremony! Remember the happy times now, and that radiant smile she was so generous in giving. Sincerely, Dilys and Joanne Buchan.
