Doris R. (Hazelton) Backus

Peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, February 14^th, 2012 in her 89^th year. Beloved wife of the late John E. Backus. Loving mother of John Backus (Sandi) of St. Anne’s, Manitoba; and Jim Backus (Dianne) of St. Thomas. Also loved by her three grandchildren Ted (Tracey), Brett (Darcy) and Darryl (Kathleen) and two great-grandchildren Dylan and Tyler. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18^th, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the family funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
