Peacefully and spiritually, our beloved mother passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, with her family by her side. Dorothy lived for her family and will be remembered for how she loved them. She was generous and kind and always there when you needed her.
Beloved wife of Jack Green (2017), and adoring mother of Shelley Hagar (Gordon), Michael Peck (Heidi), and Carolyn Williams (Thomas). Loving grandmother of Darren Hagar (Claudette), Ethan (Juliana) and Kelly Peck, David and Benjamin Williams.
In lieu of flowers, Dorothy encouraged all to take a friend out for an Iced Capp, be kind to one another, and the world will be a better place.

To Jack, Shelley, Michael and Carolyn. I knew and loved your mother Dorothy Mardling as a good friend, and classmate in RR #9 Harwich. Linda Fisher, Doug Couture, Doug Oakey and I were classmates (Grade one-eight) until Jake Verburg joined us for his last couple of years. Mildred Johnston taught us all those years. Dorothy would take me with her to Rondeau Park to be with her family in the campground. It was so much fun to spend time in summer with their family. We were separated by distance (I was in the West and she was in the London/Chatham area yet our hearts were always together. I wish you peace and love when you think of your wonderful mother, wife and friend of ours. Love you Dorothy. Barbara
I had the pleasure of working with your Mom for 11 years at Kingsmill’s. She was kind, generous and well liked by all who knew her. I will remember her beautiful laugh. May she rest in peace. Sincere condolences to all of the family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Dorothy’s passing. What began as a professional relationship became a deeply personal one. Dorothy was a dear friend and mentor who had a lasting impact on my life.
