On Wednesday, May 25th, 2011, Mrs. Dorothy (Hemingway) Hynes of London in her 83rd year. Wife of the late Joe Hynes (2010). Beloved mother and grandmother of Andrew Hynes and his wife Michele and their children Katie, Jeffrey, Michael and Rebecca; and Graham Hynes and his children Max and Ellie and their mother Nancy Jarvis. Dear sister of David Hemingway and his wife Kay of England. Predeceased by her son Philip Hynes (1993). Following Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and close friends will be conducted at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Saturday, June 4th, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. To the family of Dorothy, I just wanted to let you know that we were very sad to hear about your mother/grandmother's passing. She was a dental patient at my office for 13 years. She often spoke fondly about family helping with her gardening and how she enjoyed walking her son's dog. It was truly our pleasure to have known her and she will be missed by myself and all the staff. May you take comfort in the warm thoughts and loving memories you have of her. Andrew & Graham and Families We were deeply shocked and saddened to see Dorothy's death in the LFP this am. I was making a birthday cake today for Sat and probably she didn't even receive the birthday card which was mailed on Tues. She was a very best friend, so kind and thoughtful to both of us. We will miss her terribly.
