Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8th, 2017 at University Hospital, with family by her side, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry “Duke” Cudmore (1985). Mother of Jerry Sheers of Penetanguishene. Loving grandmother of Pattie Sheers and Jay Sheers (Jessie) of London, and great-grandmother of Alexandra Nicole, Scarlett and Patrick. Fondly remembered by Gerrie Sheers. Dear sister of Betty McPhee (Archie) and sister-in-law of Liz Wood (late Jack). Predeceased by her parents, Murray and Bertha (Bolton) Wood; her brothers, Bill Wood (late Betty), Harold Wood, and Jim Wood. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, October 27th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in Dorothy’s memory are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Jerry, Pattie and Jay, Sorry for your loss, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Memories can never be taken away hold them close to your heart and mom and grandma will be with you all always. Hugs to you all Dixie, Jackie, Peter and Shannon
Jerry, my condolences to you and your family. I was Dorothy's hairdresser for the last 5 years. We will miss seeing her on Friday mornings and hearing her stories. She will be missed.
