TREITZ, Dorothy Patricia (née Munday) – Loved and respected throughout her life for her strength and determination, Dorothy passed peacefully at McGarrell Place on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the age of 90. Dorothy was the beloved and cherished wife of Donald Edward Treitz. She was a much loved mother of Linda McFall (Bill) and Sandra Lipskey (Ed). Proud Grandma of Matthew Lipskey (Chelsea) and Brent Lipskey (Eva), and Great-Grandma of Jake and Marshall Lipskey, and Emmett, Hayden, Merek and Jillian Lipskey. Dorothy leaves behind her sister Gwen Haven and her brothers Richard Munday (Margie) and Bill Munday (Chyleen). Predeceased by her parents Richard Alfred Munday and Ethel Fanny. Dorothy’s perseverance, integrity, and strength were hallmarks of her life. Dorothy’s family is grateful to the compassionate staff of McGarrell Place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dorothy are asked to consider McGarrell Place.

when I came into work on Friday I was very sad to learn that Dorthy had passed. She was a wonderful lady who always had a smile for me, She sure let us know when she did not want to do something. I will miss her .
Any parent's passing is tough; a good parent passing is more so. Erika and I knew and respected Sandy's Mom as a solid rock amidst life's swells. People like Sandy's Mom make their mark!

I am sorry to hear of Aunt Dot's passing. She nñwas a good ladyand we had lots of laughs. I remember the summer I worked in London and stayed st her place. She would make my lunch and she must have had some Jewish mother in her because my lunch box was do stuffed with food I could hardly lift it. Great times. I will miss her.
