Dr. Eugene Frederick (Fred) Sasse, CD, BSc., DDS

Surrounded by his family on his 90^th birthday, Wednesday, May 27, 2026.  Beloved husband of Sadie of almost 68 years.  Cherished father of Donna Pratt, Fred Sasse (Lisa), Matthew Sasse and Judy Webster.  Proud grandfather of Chantal Wolter (Ken), Amanda Mazurkiewicz (Dave), Kirsten Pratt (Jacob), Stefanie Pratt (Fraser), Spencer Webster and Melissa Watson.  Great-grandfather of Holden Wolter.  Survived by his sister Joyce Sasse, brother Bill Sasse, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Fred was in the RCAF as a navigator, then became a dentist in the Canadian Armed Forces, followed by private dental practices in London and Sarnia.  He was also an avid hockey player with London Senior Hockey and Huff & Puff Hockey.  An animal lover, Fred leaves behind his chocolate lab, Ranger, and his many grand-puppies.  He will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbours alike.

A funeral service will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
