Dwayne “Ricky” Steeves

I lost my best friend and the love of my life. Dwayne “Ricky” Steeves fought as hard as he could but it was not meant to be. He lost his battle unexpectedly on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Victoria Hospital, London with family by his side.
Dwayne was survived by his beloved late wife Erin (August 19, 2023) and their fur baby Smokey; sisters Sheri Steeves and Tara Steeves; father-in-law Al and mother-in-law Denise; sister-in-law Heather McLean (Ryan), brother-in-law Patrick Coghlin (Allison), and sister-in-law Amanda Horrell (Jeremy); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Sharon Steeves.
Dwayne was born on September 23, 1966 while his parents were posted in Germany. As were Dwayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life to honour both him and Erin will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 317, 311 Oakland Avenue, London on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dwayne are asked to consider The Transplant Program via the London Health Sciences Foundation. Also, please consider signing your organ donor card as this was Dwayne’s passion.
