Peacefully with her family by her side, Alethea Dale of London, passed away at University Hospital on July 23rd, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Lennis Dale (1969). Loving and cherished mother of the late Frank Dale (1978), Barrie Dale and his wife Marlene, the late John Dale (2011) and Sheila Mitchell and her husband Dan. Fondly remembered by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Dewi Humphreys. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Private family service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Alethea are asked to consider the Arthritis Society or the London Regional Cancer Program.

It is with sadness that I have learnt of the passing of my Aunty Dwynwen. Only recently in the past few weeks Sheila and Christian visited the UK and we got an update and recent photographs of her. It has been 15 years since we saw my Aunt last but kept in touch by mail and telephone. I will miss her and extend my sympathy and love to all her immediate family. Most of all to Sheila who has been my Aunts rock my heart is with you xx
