Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario with family by his side on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Vickie (née Chase) for 26 years. Loving father of Warren (Lisa) and Wendy. Cherished grandfather of Jacob and Matthew. Dear step-father of Greg Palmer (Sandy) and family. Predeceased by siblings Mary and Glen.
Skip was devoted to family and sports, especially golf and hockey. He had a wonderful sense of humour and a kind heart. Skip drove a Weston Bakeries bread truck for 28 years.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Skip are asked to consider the McCormick Care Foundation (Dementia Services).

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Vickie, Warren, Lisa, Jacob, Matthew, Wendy, Greg and Sandy on the passing of Skip. Many fond memories return when reflecting back over the more than seventy-five years of knowing Skip. One could not have had a better friend. May you rest in peace.
My deepest sympathy to Vickie, Warren, Lisa, Wendy,Jacob and Matthew on the loss of their beloved Skip. He was a fun loving uncle to me, always smiling and joking around. I was blessed to have him in my life and he will be deeply missed. I know my mom will be happy to be reunited with him. "Be nice" Uncle Skip and may you rest peacefully now.
