I've known Ted since first year college at Fanshawe in 1981. I remember one day Ted came to me and said he had seen the most beautiful girl at the bus stop. He confided in me that he hadn't talked to her but he was hoping their paths would cross again. A few days later he told me with a big smile on his face that he was on the same bus as her and had said "hello" to her. Can't rush these things you know... Next time he was on the same bus he struck up a conversation and got her name! His eyes lit up and with a big smile he informed me her name was Rita! As I recall it was a few bus rides later, on the same bus, after striking up many conversations, he asked her out. She said "Yes!" After college, Ted and I shared an apartment in K-W. A short time after that I had the honour and privilege of being in Ted and Rita's wedding where, as I recall, Giovani and Liz stole the show. There was a lot more great times to follow. I moved away for a bit and while we always stayed in touch we didn't get together as often. I moved back closer to London years later. It was like the distance and time had no effect. That's what Ted was like. Ted wasn't able to do as much so we would go on short walks, go to a movie, or just sit and visit in their house. I'm going to miss you big guy.

Sincere condolences Rita to you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Vera and Pino Iellamo??
