Edwin Bailie (Bailey) Sr.

Passed away at LHSC – University Hospital in London, Ontario on October 10, 2018, in his 88th year, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of the late Paula Bailey. Dear father of the late Frank Bailey (Margaret), Louie Bailey, Mary Ann Bailey (Mark), Frances Biasutto (Paul), Ed Bailey Jr., and Kimmy Bailey. Cherished grandfather of Jason, Krista-Sue, Simon, Philip, Caleigh, Colin, Andrew, Christina, Dakota, Cody and Thomas, and great-grandfather of Eric, Brooke-Lyn, Jayda, Keygan, Kowan and Oakleigh. Survived by his sister Babs. Predeceased by Jack, Maisie, Brian, Reginald and Gordie. Edwin will be missed by his extended relatives and many friends. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Interment at Zion Hill Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Edwin are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.

Our condolences go out to the Bailey Family for the sad loss of their Father Ed. We were blessed to have met such a special and loving person as I am sure many would also say. I just cannot say enough nice things about him he was that special. I am going to miss my visits with him and the laughs we had I now just wish I would had visited much more. R.I.P. Ed. you will be greatly missed..You were one of a kind.
