Peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital, on September 17, 2018, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of 64 years to Pauline. Cherished father of Wendy Schweig, Kimberley (Ken) Lumpkin, and Tracey Cowie. Proud Poppa of Stephanie Schweig, Thomas and Mason (Savannah) Michalcewicz, Megan Simpson, Leslie and Dana Burke. Devoted Poppa Cece to Alex Simpson. Cece will be missed by his siblings; Eileen (Rene) Pitre, Lloyd (Diane) Cowie, and Rita Allan. Predeceased by his son-in-law, Vern Schweig; siblings Len Cowie, Vera Frederickson, Doris Johnson, and Marion Griffith. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, and his furry canine companion, ‘Blondie’. A funeral service will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with friends being received by the family one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, September 24, 2018, at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Cece are asked to consider the London Humane Society, or a charity of your choice.

We are so sorry to hear of Cece's passing. We remember him well from his time in Ridgetown. Thinking of all of you during this sad time and send our condolences to you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sending my prayers and hugs to Pauline, Tracey, Meagan, Leslie and Dana. Cece was such a joy to know, full of fun and laughter. He will be missed dearly by everyone whose life he touched. I will be with you in my heart on Saturday and wish I could be there in person. RIP Cece.
We are sorry for your loss ! Cece and Pauline became part of our lives year ago when we moved to Ridgetown and became great neighbours. Many memories of this wonderful man and his wife and family. He will always be in our hearts.Rip Cece.

Pauline, so sorry to hear of your loss. I miss him joking with me when ever I went to my Mom and Sam's next store to you. He will truly be missed, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

On behalf of our family I would like to extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to Pauline, Wendy, Kim and Tracy and families on the passing of Uncle Cece. Even though our families lived on opposite sides of the country, when we did see each other it was as though it was yesterday, he treated you as family. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. RIP uncle.
