Eileen Ida Rachar

Peacefully, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, Eileen Ida Rachar of London passed away in her 91^st year. Beloved wife of the late Ross Rachar (1986). Proud mother of Paul Rachar (Reine), Eric Rachar, Sharon Rachar (Jack). She will be forever missed by her grandchildren, Matthew, Emily, and Jordan, and her great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Denise Rachar. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Ellen lived a long and beautiful life filled with love, family, and countless memories. She had a special way of making those around her feel welcomed and cared for, and her presence touched so many lives.

Family meant so much to Ellen. She especially cherished the little ones in her life, and there was nothing quite like seeing her eyes light up when the children came to visit. Those precious lunches, visits, conversations, smiles, and moments together will be treasured forever.

Ellen will be remembered for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the special place she held in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.

Although saying goodbye after 90 years of life is never easy, we are grateful for the years we were blessed to have her. Her love and memory will continue to live on through her family and anyone whose life she touched.

Rest peacefully, Ellen.

A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
