Elaine Elizabeth Dwyer

Caitlan and family, I want to pass my deepest condolences to you all. Elaine was a truly courageous, kind and devoted woman. She held her head high always and knew how to make someone feel special. I am so blessed to have had the privelage of working with her so closely and to be able to take so many invaluable life lessons from how she lived hers. I will cherish those days with her, and I wish the same for you all as well. She loved you all so dearly and spoke of you all so often with the deepest love in her eyes. Dave, Elaine's gift of love and companionship is now immortal and she always be close to you! Her gift of friendship through our school years and the glory days of the ballhockey years is solidly confirmed by all of touches by her warmth and laughter. My thoughts and love go out to you, Dwyer family; Elaine was a dear friend to our family and an incredible, beautiful person in every way. Growing up she was my "mother across the street", always warm and welcoming to the Faulkner kids. To my mother, Elaine was a best friend, someone to confide in, and a partner to sit on the porch with a glass of wine - their laughs easily heard from across the street at either house. That kind of relationship between neighbours is something special and takes a special person, which Elaine was. She will always be an important part our lives and we'll always be grateful for the time we had with her. Dwyer Family, although we are far away, our hearts are always with you. Elaine was such an important part of our lives growing up across the street from you. What started as neighbours became friends, and over time that grew into one big family. Elaine was a second mother to all of us, and will forever remain with us as an inspiration to be always strong, always brave, always optimistic, and to live life to the fullest. Dave and familly, I just heard about Elaine today, I am so sorry for your loss. I saw Elaine a short time ago at one of the clinics, she talked about you and her girls. We remembered our RBC craft nights, more gossip, wine and food than crafts but a good time was had by all. My prayers go out to you and your family at this very difficult time.

I was working with Elaine when she was first diagnosed with Cancer. I will never forget how stronge and positive Elaine was back then, and during her long battle. Just a few months ago she dropped into the branch with a gigantic smile on her face. I know you know how much your Wife and Mom loved you all. I wanted you to know, that everyone else knew too, the depth of how proud & how much she loved her girls, and her husband. Elaine made a difference in many people's lifes.....Yes she accomplished being an inspiration to many....what a tremendous legacy.
