Peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital on Monday, March 20, 2023, Elisabeth Francisca Wuytenburg of London, in her 91st year. Wife of the late John Antonius Wuytenburg. Cherished mother of Conroy (Liane) and Marlon (Tara). Survived and missed by family in Canada and Holland. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Elisabeth are asked to consider a charity of their choice.

We will always remember the kind, generous person who will forever be known to us as "Marlon's mom." I always loved her peach tarts, which were a hit at our wedding -- Matt and I enjoyed them very much! She was always welcoming, and made my sister Tara feel part of her family so quickly. From our family -- Grace, Matt, George, Elliott & Marigold -- we are grateful to have had "Betts" as part of our lives.

"Marlon's Mom" as you were known to me, you will be greatly missed by Marlon & Conroy and by myself. You were always mom-2 or "moms" to me, when ever I asked Marlon how you were doing. I remember well Basko and his 'love' of me when I came over to your place when we were young. Great memories, will never be forgotten. Rest well now, enjoy your peace. A donation has been made to RSPCA of Australia. Message from the donator: Dogs are better for human's mental state than any therapy. I tried donating to the Humane Society of Canada but it would not accept my CC. So I donated to it's affiliate in Australia, the RSPCA.
